If we had to describe Bali in a word we'd just say Paradise...not only in it`s physical appearance however, people say that one feels when walking around the people and the land that seems to rise above the everyday spiritual plane.

About Lysos

Lysos is a traditional mountain village in the Paphos district, of Cyprus. Here seems the time to stand still. Lysos with its approximately 200 inhabitants lies at an altitude between 500m and 600m and offers fantastic views of the Akamas Peninsula, the Mediterranean Sea, and the evergreen mountains of the Paphos Forest Here is where you get to witness the most beautiful sunsets.

About Paradisos

Paradisos retreat is the real Cypriot Experience...The Paradisos is located on the outskirts of the small village of Lysos, in the hills a short drive, about 10 km from Polis and Latchi. It is a traditional Cypriot hotel, family-run, a dream that became reality, this space is everything you could wish for if you want respite from the pressures of modern life. The location is to die for with spectacular forest views down to the sea, the scenery is simply breathtaking and probably some of the best in Cyprus.

We are offering 8 single rooms and 3 twin rooms....

Our retreats take no more than 14 people to keep the retreat intimate and relaxed.

The 11 rooms have an easy elegance. Creamy white walls and tiled floors provide a canvas for solid wood furniture, comfy beds, sofas or chairs, and soft furnishings, but it is the balcony or terrace – with breathtaking views out over the garden and countryside (some have glimpses of the sea) – that is the main focal point.
Rooms have the expected array of amenities, including temperature control, a bath, shower a minibar, direct internet access, and a laundry service if required.
All rooms are ensuite.

Relax on your private balcony or enjoy a swim in the pool which also commands outstanding views. Space, peace, and tranquility are in abundance here, with beautiful grounds to relax in the hammocks around the property, or catch some vitamin D on one of the many sun terraces.

For your comfort and experience here in Bali Firefly Wellness Retreats have rented our very own retreat space. We chose Basandari as it provides the ideal environment to nourish your mind, body, and soul, whilst reconnecting to nature at its finest.



We are lucky to be able to sample one of Paradisos`s famous Sunday Lunches during your stay. Paradisos are able to meet your dietary requirements.

Most of the food at Paradisos is locally grown and organic where possible. Traditional Cypriot cuisine, as well as international cuisine, are both available for you. We shall breakfast, 5 x dinners and 5 x lunches will be provided during your stay, you will certainly be nourishing your mind, body, and spirit during this retreat.

At Firefly Wellness Retreats, we believe that yoga can be experienced both on and off the mat and that it is a practice that can improve our lives and lead us into the present moment. Traveling to a new place and experiencing a new culture also helps lead us to the present moment by heightening our senses and putting mixing up our day-to-day. In Cyprus, one feels this yoga spirit, the spirit of connection, throughout the island, and it’s hard not to be pulled deeper into that sense of ceremony that is so pervasive in the culture. From the daily yoga classes to activities such as hiking, wine tasting, halloumi making, boat trip to the Blue Lagoon, indulgent massages and sound healing , one will feel that wellness and love is what the Island of Cyprus exudes and that it will naturally make its way in to one's own life during the time here.

I have recently returned from an amazing retreat in Italy with Firefly. Vicky and Vanessa are fantastic hosts, ensuring the retreat ran smoothly with a great balance of yoga, treatments, hiking and excursions I have practiced Yoga with many great Yoga teachers from around the world but Vanessa is one of the best. She offers a variety of different classes including Yoga Therapy, effortlessly taking into account the differing experience levels of the guests. Vicky offers fantastic, holistic massages and treatments, she truly has healing hands. This wont be the last time I go on retreat with Firefly...

The Rest & Restore retreat was just what I needed. Set in a wonderfully remote location amidst the Tuscan Hills, the farm itself is self-sufficient and eco-friendly. Vanessa and Vicky make a great team and each brought their true essence to the group, which made for a great trip. If you enjoy meditation/mindful practices, yoga, spiritual connections, then don’t hesitate to join once Firefly’s retreats. You may even be lucky as to see some Fireflies on the trip, as we were :-)
